Blog Page Requirements

These are what we consider the required elements for a successful SEO and UX layout for any standard blog page. If there are any other questions, feel free to reach out to GTMA.

LAYOUT:

[Featured Image]

H1 Header Title (Only One)

HTML Content Field

  • Ability to add Title Tags (H2, H3, etc.)
  • Font Styling (Bold, Italics, Underline, Bullet Lists)
  • Ability to add supporting images
  • Ability to add internal and external links

Metadata Fields (Handled by Yoast Plugin)

  • SEO Title
  • SEO Description
  • Slug
  • Set Canonical
  • Social Media Metadata (optional)

Images

  • Ability to add alt-text
  • Ability to wrap image in Text (Center, Left-Align, Right-Align)

We would also need a separate “Blog Page” with the exact same setup for G.E.O. articles. These articles will be made specifically for AI Search Engines.

The link to the G.E.O. articles page doesn’t necessarily need to be apparent to users, but there should still be a link somewhere on the site to not create orphan pages. Somewhere in the footer or even on a sitemap page would work fine.

If you're getting FAQ page copywriting from GTMA, a third page with the same setup will suffice. However, we believe that an FAQ page is useful for both AI search and potential residents so you may want to consider adding this link to your navigation or menu so that users can find it.
