How Do I Set Up And Share Access To My Google Search Console Account With GTMA?
For Google Search Console creation, follow these steps:
If you do NOT have a Google Search Console property yet
- Go to search.google.com/search-console and click Start now.
- Sign in with the primary Google Account associated with your business.
- Under Select property type, choose one of the following:
- Domain: Enter your main domain (e.g., yourwebsite.com). This covers all subdomains and protocol variations (http, https, www). You will need to add a TXT record to your DNS provider (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, etc.) to verify ownership.
- URL prefix: Enter your exact website URL (e.g., [https://www.yourwebsite.com](https://www.yourwebsite.com)). You can verify using an HTML file upload, HTML tag, or Google Tag Manager.
