How To Grant Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Or Google Tag Manager (GTM) Access To GTMA

Please send invitations to both Ops@gtma.agency and Ops@evernode.ai for Marketer (GA4) and Publish (GTM) level access.

To help you get the most out of your marketing, we need to make sure we are tracking your website's performance by using two essential Google tools/ 

Please follow the steps below to share access to your Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) accounts with the GTMA team.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — Marketer Access or above

This level allows us to configure key events (conversions), build custom audiences, and manage event tracking without needing full administrative control over your account settings.

1. Ensure that you have at least the administrator role for the GA4 account you're sharing access to, then go to Google Analytics. 

Navigate to analytics.google.com and log in. You can check if you're in the correct GA4 property using the dropdown selector at the top left side.

2. Open Admin settings:

Click on the Admin (gear icon) in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

3. Navigate to Access Management:

In the Property section, click on Property access management.

(Note: If you want to share all properties under your account at once, click "Account access management" in the first column instead.)

4. Click the blue '+'. 

Click the blue + icon in the top-right corner of the page and select Add users

5. Enter our email(s) and Set the role to Marketer: 

Enter the GTMA email address: Ops@gtma.agency & Ops@evernode.ai (You can add both at the same time if you separate them with a comma)

Under Standard roles, select Marketer.

Leave "Notify new users by email" checked, then click Add in the top-right corner to send the invite.

Google Tag Manager (GTM) — Publish Access

This level allows us to build, test, and publish tracking tags directly to your website so we can manage your analytics setup efficiently.

1. Ensure that you have at least the administrator role for the GTM account you're sharing access to, then go to Google Tag Manager:

Navigate to tagmanager.google.com and open your website's container by fiYou can check if you're in the correct GA4 property using the dropdown selector at the top left side.

2. Open Admin:

Click on the Admin tab at the top of the page.

3. Navigate to the Google tag users section 

Select "Choose who can edit this tag's settings."

4. Click the blue '+'. 

Click the blue + icon in the top-right corner of the page and select Add users.

 

5. Enter our email(s) and select Publish: 

Enter the GTMA email address: Ops@gtma.agency & Ops@evernode.ai (You can add both at the same time if you separate them with a comma.)

Under Tag editors, check the box for Publish (this will automatically select Read as well). Click Invite in the top-right corner.

What happens next?

Once you click "Add" and "Invite" on either platform, our team will receive email notifications to accept the access, and we're done!
