Managing Your Google Business Profile Users & Access
To help us manage, optimize, and monitor your Google Business Profile (GBP), we need access to your account. If you're familiar with GBP already, please grant us access using both ops@gtma.agency and ops@evernode.ai
Before You Start
Make sure you are logged into the Google Account that is currently the primary owner of your business profile.
You should then be able to access your GBP by navigating to https://business.google.com/locations and clicking on the name of the business you're trying to share access to.
OR
You can also search for your exact business name on Google Search or Google Maps while logged into your business Google Account. Click the three vertical dots in the upper right of the merchant panel and select Business Profile settings.
How to Add a New Owner or Manager
1. Access Settings
Once you've click into the business profile through either of the above methods, click the three vertical dots next to the 'Profile Strength' icon and select 'Business Profile settings'.
2. Go to 'People and access':
Click on People and access. Here, you will see a list of everyone who currently has access to your profile, as well as any pending invites.
3. Send and accept the Invitation:
Click Add (+) at the top left. Enter the user's email address, select their role (Owner or Manager), and click Invite.
We need manager-level access granted to both ops@gtma.agency and ops@evernode.ai
We will then receive the invite in an email. Once we accept, you will get a confirmation email in return, and we're done!
NOTE: For security purposes, Google places a 7-day restriction on all newly added owners or managers. During their first week, new users cannot delete the profile, remove other users, or transfer primary ownership.
Also, please note that while GTMA may either optimize, access, or publish to your GBP, GTMA does not manage GBP profiles as a part of our core services offerings.
